I studied with Valerie for many years. She is a gifted and talented musician as well as a skilled teacher. I would highly recommend her to anyone, adult or child, advanced or beginner.

Valerie Siciliano is the best piano teacher I ever head. My daughters and I studied with her for many years before she relocated. She is a consummate professional, a gifted musician and teacher, and a thoughtful, compassionate, creative artist. She taught to my strengths and encouraged me as I developed my weaknesses. Listening to her play and teach are some of my fondest memories, and I still miss our weekly exploration of the keyboard and the technique and inner life necessary to play it. Additionally, her students enjoy opportunities to play and share their music with one another which heightens the entire experience.

Valerie has been my piano teacher for several years. She is very supportive and encouraging. I have made good progress and really enjoy my lessons. She challenges me to move towards more difficult music.
Valerie has students of all ages (I am a senior citizen) and she can motivate us all. I highly recommend her.

Valerie taught my daughter piano for several years. She did not use the one for all approach that other piano teachers often use. She fuels the creative process instead of squelching it. Her enthusiasm is contagious. I would highly recommend Valerie.

I took piano lessons from Val. She is amazing. I was an adult beginner. She does not teach a rote methodology. She determines your strengths and weaknesses and creates individualized instruction. I stopped taking lessons from her because she moved out of the area. I am very excited that she has moved back and I will be taking lessons from her again.

Celeste on the grounds of Bayreuth Festspielhaus in Germany

5/5 stars

“I’ve known Celeste as a voice teacher for the last ten years. I’m an adult student and love to sing but never really thought I could. Celeste has opened up a world of enjoyment for me and none of it hurt! She is endlessly inventive and makes it all fun and positive while bringing solid, helpful information to bear. I’ve seen her work with others (my husband and various friends) and seen her find the things that work best for each student. I think that’s the mark of a really good teacher.”

“I was a music teacher for 25 years majoring in voice in college. Celeste was truly the best teacher that I ever worked with. We were colleagues when I met her but I knew that I could gain much by studying with her. In my 25 years of study and teaching there was never a better teacher!”

“I haven’t taken voice lessons in a very long time and I was pretty nervous singing again but Celeste made me feel super comfortable and worked with me in detail to get back on track. I can’t wait for my next lesson! Thank you Celeste!”
