GROUP music CLASSES COMING THIS FALL!
Come join one or more of our group classes, whether you’re a beginner or have more experience, there is sure to be something for you! Choose from the following classes or take several and receive a discount! Each session is 6 weeks long.
Adult Piano Classes
These small classes (maximum of 4 per class) are for those who enjoy the camaraderie of a group learning experience and prefer not to go it alone! The added advantage of this setting is that we will also learn ensemble pieces in addition to working on technique, music reading and standard repertoire in a variety of styles.
Group 1 beginners - Tuesdays 7-8pm
Group 2 intermediate - Tuesdays 8-9pm

Chorus Class
A unique blend of vocal technique, musicianship and singing together in harmony that is both fun & educational! We will spend a portion of each class on technical exercises to improve the voice, such as proper breathing, tone production and diction. Musicianship skills such as solfège, ear-training, music reading will also be included. And we will also work on repertoire in various styles and languages that will be chosen for the abilities and talents of the participants. All levels and voice types are welcome!

Music Theory & Ear-training
If understanding the inner workings of music has ever been a goal or yours, then this is the class for you! It is not necessary to play an instrument, but these classes will also complement and enhance the study of any instrument, including the voice. We will learn music basics such as pitch and rhythm notation, basics of harmony and chord structure, musical form and analysis. We will also include drills and exercises to improve reading and musical comprehension.

Kids Music Classes
This fun class will unlock your child’s musical potential, engage their imagination and foster a love of music! We will sing, learn piano basics and play various percussion instruments to practice rhythm and coordination. Skills such as solfège, reading basics and improvising will be included as appropriate for the members of each class. All levels welcome.

Workshops for Weekend Warriors
INTRODUCTION TO THE RABINE METHOD OF FUNCTIONAL SINGING
In addition to holding multiple degrees and certifications in Music and Vocal Studies, Celeste has recently graduated from a vocal pedagogy program at the Rabine Institute in Lampertheim, Germany and is excited to finally bring this amazing functional method of singing to the USA. All levels are welcome! Come explore how to enjoy your voice with a gentler and more expressive vocal production technique.
Harmony, SolfÈge & Rounds from around the Globe
In this dynamic workshop we will learn and sing rounds and canons from around the world and explore the basics of how to create harmony using the system of Solfège (Think “Do-Re-Mi” from Roger’s & Hammerstein’s ‘The Sound of Music’)!
Introduction to the 17th & 18th century Classical Italian Songbook
If you’ve ever wished to sing in Italian and would like travel back in time with us to explore and learn some of the most beautiful and enduring songs from this period, we welcome you to come join us! No previous experience is required, but basic understanding of singing technique is helpful. We will sing in a group for the most part, but opportunities to sing solo will be offered.
Singing in Motion
These fusion workshops will explore how to include gentle movement and various healing health modalities in your singing to achieving a freer, more vibrant vocal production. We will draw from many traditions, including Qi Gong, Yoga, Alexander Technique and Rabine Method.
